Alamo Heights lacrosse was founded in 2006 by David Monnich. Coach Monnich was instrumental in introducing lacrosse to the Alamo Heights Community. The club has grown exponentially over the last 18 years and our program offers school based Spring season lacrosse to both boys and girls grades 1 through 12.

In 2023, the Alamo Heights Lacrosse High School Boys team won the Class C State Championship and welcomed the addition of our first Girls High School team.  The inaugural high school girls team finished in the district semifinals and had fun every second of the journey. In 2025 the club looks to expand our girls program into the youth and middle school leagues competing against other San Antonio programs.
