Boys JV and Varsity

The Boys Varsity lacrosse team claimed the Class B Central District Championship in 2025, finishing the season 8-0 in district play.

 

2026 SEASON COACHES

TREVOR MCNAMARA, HEAD COACH

Trevor is entering his 5th year as head coach for the Boys Varsity team. Travor had a highly successful playing career at Aurora University, where he helped lead the Spartans to 68 victories, 4 Midwest Lacrosse Conference Championships, and 4 appearances in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship. A native of Grand Haven, Michigan, Trevor served as the U14 head coach for the West Side Lacrosse Club from 2015-2018 and is the founder and director of 210 Lacrosse.

As head coach at Alamo Heights, Trevor has led the Varsity boys to an impressive record:

• 2022 THSLL Class C State Championship Runner Up
• 2023 THSLL Class C State Champions
• 2025 thSLL Class B Central District Champions

In addition, Trevor was named the 2025 Class B Central District Coach of the Year.

 

MIKE RYAN, ASSISTANT COACH

Mike is originally from Northborough, Massachusetts and is entering his 4th year as assistant coach for the AH boys Varsity team. He played lacrosse at Saint Anselm College and was also a 3-year starter for the football team. He received an honors B.A. Cum Laude in history from Saint Anselm College in 2017.

 

BEN LIBBY, OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Ben started playing lacrosse at an Alamo Heights summer camp 17 years ago. He played in college at Southwestern University, where he was a captain and helped lead his team to 4 conference championship games. He has been the offensive coordinator at Alamo Heights for the past 3 seasons and helped the Mules win a state championship in 2023.

 

JACK CONNELLY, DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Jack played lacrosse in high school at Calvert Hall College in Maryland, where he won the MIAA Championship twice and ranked 78th in the country in the class of 2018. He played D1 at Towson University. In addition to coaching at Alamo Heights, he coaches at 210 Lacrosse and FCA Lacrosse.

 

RYAN CHOJNOWSKI, BOYS JV COACH

Ryan is the JV head coach and lives in the Alamo Heights area with his wife, Alexis, and their puppy, Miller. He is passionate about coaching lacrosse and is an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
